How SameOS Guides Are Written and Reviewed

Last reviewed: August 29, 2026

SameOS Tools documents installation and operating procedures that were needed on a personal Linux server, plus browser utilities built around the same work. The goal is not to manufacture pages for search; each page should help a reader finish one real task.

What the site covers

The core topics are Linux dedicated-game-server installation, safe shutdowns, backups, updates, recovery, and image, hash, and capacity tools that run without uploading a file. Trending subjects that are unrelated to hands-on server operation are outside this scope.

How commands and settings are checked

Korean and English translation

Both languages carry the same facts and procedure, but are not produced by blind word replacement. Explanations, warnings, table labels, and explanatory code comments are reviewed in each language. Commands, program names, file paths, environment variables, and setting keys remain unchanged so the examples still run.

For example, the shell comment # back up before editing can become # 수정 전 백업 in Korean, while docker compose and server.properties must not be translated.

Corrections and ageing information

When a game or server release changes a procedure, the reviewed page receives an updated date. Material that has not yet been re-tested keeps its target version instead of pretending to be current. Useful error reports include the page URL, software version, and the exact error text.

Editorial and advertising separation

Advertising does not determine a guide conclusion or tool result. The site never asks readers to click ads, and ads stay off login, error, contact, privacy, and other screens without independent publisher content. Any future paid relationship will be disclosed next to the relevant link.
