SameOS Tools does not require user registration on public tool pages. The file hash tool uses the browser Web Crypto API, and selected files are not uploaded to the server.
Information That May Be Collected
The web server may record basic logs such as access time, IP address, requested URL, and browser information for security and troubleshooting. For per-page visit statistics, an irreversibly transformed (hashed) form of the IP address may also be used for counting; this value cannot identify an individual. If you contact us, the contact address and message you provide may be used to respond.
Cookies and Advertising
SameOS Tools may use third-party advertising services such as Google AdSense. Ad providers may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve ads, limit frequency, measure ad performance, and provide personalized or non-personalized ads. Users can manage personalized ads and cookie use through browser settings or Google ad settings.
Ad Choices
Personalized advertising can be adjusted through Google ad settings and browser cookie settings. Depending on the visitor region, additional consent or choice prompts may be provided.
Private Management Area
The management-only area is separated from the public site and is not allowed to be indexed by search engines. Access is limited to authenticated operators.
